The following is for an Epson printer, so the following may be somewhat different with another printer.

1. In Print Preview to let Adobe do the color management, be sure Color Management is selected.  (If you want your inkjet printer to do the color management the selection is Output. ) Under Print Space: Profile: select your printer and the paper you will be using. In Page Setup choose your printer and the size paper and orientaiton you will print on.

2. After you click "Print" from Print Preview in Photoshop,

Select Color Management from Copies & Pages dropdown menu.

3. Turn "Off (No Color Adjustment)"

You will just shut off the CM for your printer.  The CM you set up in Photoshop is still selected.

4. Now press on the "Color Management" drop down menu and select "Print Settings."

5. This dialog box will appear.

Choose :

  1. Choose Media Type
  2. Choose Color or Black and White
  3. Mode: Advanced
    if Advanced:choose Print Quality;
    choose Gloss Optimizer on or off

*Automatic means Printer's color profile.
