Photoshop CSColor Adjustment in Camera RAW Healing Brush
|
You will make use of:
1. The image was cropped to eliminate the black border. 2. To reduce the general noise, the Blue Channel was selected from Channels
and the Despeckle Filter applied.
3. Since the image was so crowded with tiny specks, a 300% View helped to select a clean space to Option-click the Healing Brush. Each speck, fleck and thread was then clicked away. When cleaning an image you may have to go back to a clean space and option-click again if the Healing Brush stops working.
4. Levels was adjusted in all three channels separately from New Adjustment Layer.
5. After adjusting levels, you can see the difference by clicking the eye on and off next to the Levels Layer. 6. An “S” curve in the Curves dialog box added a little more punch to the image by brightening the bright areas and darkening the shadows.
Note : You can download "curves" free for Photoshop Elements 2 and 3. 7. Before printing, an Unsharp Mask was applied. To apply an Unsharp Mask the Background layer was duplicated, named Unsharp and the mode changed from Normal to Luminosity.
